Manufacturing Engineer Technician

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes by researching, designing, and testing methods and equipment
• Program, set up, and prove out CNC machines for production operation
• Maintain industrial equipment through scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshooting minor repairs
• Perform time studies, assessments, and root cause analysis on quality failures
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers on manufacturability and process design issues
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities and quality improvement projects
• Design and document quick fixtures for the manufacturing floor
• Provide training to technicians and operators on new processes
• Lead safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company health and safety expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience as a team lead in machine shop operations
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and controls in an industrial environment
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages for both Mill and Lathe
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
