Manufacturing Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan finish tools and rework equipment based on R&D product rework guidelines
• Develop technical solutions and design specifications for the assembly finish area
• Define KPIs for production processes, equipment, and methods across rework sequences
• Create production plans and coordinate activities of technical contractors
• Write and develop technical specifications for production equipment
• Support layouts, time schedules, and investment plans for vehicle rework
• Drive RFQ and purchase order processes for technical solutions
• Realize pre-series and production ramp-up to series operation
• Collaborate with R&D and production to implement product design optimizations

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive production or plant engineering
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Experience with design and development of tools for process and product requirements
• Expertise in finish rework tool selection, evaluation, and optimization
• Strong troubleshooting and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of assembly area interfaces (Quality, Industrial Engineering, EHS)
• Experience in equipment planning from concept to final handover
• Proficiency in P-FMEA and Poka Yoke
• Strong skills in office and web-based applications
• Ability to present results to management or the board
