Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with production processes, equipment, and tools
• Coordinate with various departments to execute and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support New Production Introduction for production cells
• Generate and implement sustainable processes using lean manufacturing principles
• Lead or participate in Kaizen and problem-solving activities
• Initiate root-cause investigations and documentation of production failures
• Develop and implement improvement projects for production process, equipment, and tools
• Perform time studies to identify opportunities for improvement
• Create and maintain procedures, work instructions, and requalification documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodology (DMAIC, Kaizen)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Ability to understand technical drawings and GD&T
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems
