About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support to production personnel and clarify work instructions
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) and Returned Material Authorization (RMA) activities
- Lead root cause investigations using 5-Why analysis and Fishbone diagrams
- Develop and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Prepare and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends and risks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and supply chain teams
- Maintain technical documentation and work instructions
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or quality engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Experience with structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to machining, welding, heat treating, testing, or inspection processes
- Basic statistical analysis skills
