Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems for complex, fast-paced projects
• Establish and document processes related to QMS, Work Instructions, and SOPs
• Collect production data and analyze KPIs to drive improvements
• Define and implement tool life management strategies
• Take ownership of Non-Conformance Reporting and Root Cause Management
• Manage part creation, routings, and workflows for production
• Perform process validation, Equipment Acceptance Testing, and First Article Inspection
• Support development projects by designing fixtures and optimizing processes
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable results
• Contribute to strategic projects and capital investment business cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• 1+ year experience with quality management systems
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to deliver KPIs with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering project management or production/process engineering
• Experience in a Machine Shop environment
• Hands-on technical experience debugging complex manufacturing systems
• Knowledge of GD&T and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience with CAD/CAM/CAE systems such as NX
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems like Siemens Team Centre or Infor LN
• Experience transitioning products from prototype to production (NPI, DFMEA, PFMEA)
• Knowledge of IQ/PQ process driven project completion
• Experience with large capital project implementation
