Manufacturing Engineer Remanufacturing

Responsibilities

• Support the local production site and act as a connection with Product Development and Pilot Plants regarding design changes.
• Design, develop, and implement new or revised remanufacturing processes for cost-efficient products.
• Set requirements for manufacturing equipment and tools and optimize factory layout setups.
• Develop and maintain work instructions for production teams.
• Lead or participate in new product industrialization projects.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Design Change Notifications.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering and logistics teams in France, Sweden, and China.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the powertrain systems industry (Engine, Transmission, Hydraulics, etc.).
• Proficiency in CAD tools.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (speaking and writing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and willingness to undertake occasional overseas business trips.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in greenfield plant or production line setup.
• Experience in the service market, remanufacturing, or technical training.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
