Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with quality, test, production control, and operations to support electronic device production and testing
• Ensure products are built compliantly to required specifications as a process owner
• Create and update work instructions to capture all technical requirements for assembly
• Participate in the design and procurement of fixtures and tooling
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework through defect prevention
• Proactively undertake safety initiatives, including job hazard analysis and ergonomic assessments
• Monitor production goals related to cost, quality, safety, security, and schedule

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Test, or Process Engineering
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) implementation
• Understanding of MRP and Shop Floor control systems
• Knowledge of hardware assembly, torque controls, and assembly tolerance stack up
• Experience interfacing with customers and program managers regarding technical and cost performance
• Working knowledge of Military and Commercial Standards and Material/Process Specifications
