Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and streamline production processes to drive optimum output
• Act as technical lead on process system changes and new technologies
• Identify root causes of performance gaps and lead cross-functional efforts to eliminate barriers
• Develop and execute capital projects including equipment selection and installation
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools
• Analyze production data such as OEE, yield, and cycle time to drive decisions
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D to troubleshoot issues and support NPI
• Drive labor and workflow optimization including line balancing and material flow

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Understanding of electromechanical equipment and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of manufacturing terms like takt time, cycle time, and yield
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs
• Project management skills and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing facility
• 3+ years of experience writing or improving SOPs
• 3+ years of experience applying Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies
• 1+ years of experience managing project schedules
• 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD
