Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing requirements input within the PDLM system to ensure smooth transitions from product development to manufacturing
• Implement enhancements in manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to drive quality and efficiency
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline production, minimize waste, and optimize resource utilization
• Execute Capex optimization initiatives and manage the procurement and installation of recurring equipment
• Generate test protocols, reports, work instructions, and test procedures for process and method validation
• Perform DFMAT analysis and interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers for design transfer and sustaining engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, process validation, and product lifecycle management
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CAPA methodologies
• Proficiency in quality monitoring, equipment installation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience with DFMAT and CAD is desired

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
