Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and improve manufacturing operations through hands-on sustaining support and high-impact cost-reduction projects
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and Capex optimization to improve processes, tools, and equipment
• Conduct time studies to build cost models, analyze capacity, identify bottlenecks, and support line balancing
• Coordinate master data management in SAP, partnering with Procurement and Manufacturing Engineering to maintain accurate material master data
• Perform thorough reviews of active bills of materials (BOM) to ensure accurate and complete component cost data
• Define and maintain production-related manufacturing requirements and implement design changes across the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations, cost, or production engineering (or a Master's degree in lieu of experience)
• 4+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering
• Mastery of lean manufacturing methods including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and TPM
• Proficiency with time studies, line-balancing, and industrial engineering tools to optimize capacity
• Experience using SAP for master data management
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
