Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PD team, design, and global colleagues on new product introduction and DFM improvements
• Source suppliers, negotiate costs and terms, and provide feedback to design team
• Review manufacturing programs for factories and vendors, ensuring proper controls and documentation
• Manage golden samples, sign off details, and maintain revisions
• Update engineering documents for production changes and ECOs
• Investigate root causes of development issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain critical documentation and communications related to product manufacturing
• Communicate production status to operations and identify potential issues early
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure new designs meet performance requirements
• Stay current on hard goods design and manufacturing trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Basic English proficiency with clear verbal and written communication
• 3D CAD design experience with real parts or fixtures (SolidWorks or Onshape preferred)
• Must legally reside and work in China
• Ability to work on-site at factories and willingness to travel
• Detail-oriented and analytical with strong problem-solving skills

• Strong opinions about product quality and design
• Systems thinker with ability to optimize workflow and navigate roadblocks
