About the role

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and standardize manufacturing processes in assembly lines to drive efficiency, productivity, ergonomics, and safety
  • Lead analysis and problem-solving for production processes related to assembly methods
  • Implement and control engineering and process changes within assembly areas
  • Manage production line transfers and industrialization projects, from design and quoting to acquisition and implementation
  • Perform time studies and line balancing to monitor and improve efficiency
  • Implement CAPEX industrialization projects and acquire assembly tools, devices, and fixtures
  • Execute quick Kaizens and Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage and modify Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP
  • Generate and maintain detailed work instructions and technical documentation
  • Mitigate safety risks identified during risk assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
  • Proficiency in time calculation and line balancing
  • Experience with AutoCAD for layout design
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Stocks, MM, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methodologies
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams
  • Experience with FMEA (AMEF) and designing assembly devices/tools
  • Conversational English skills
