About the Company
Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and hardware from the ground up
- Create detailed 3D CAD and 2D drawings with a focus on DFX
- Perform rapid prototyping and source expanded manufacturing capabilities
- Develop and execute test plans and electro-mechanical test systems
- Identify and resolve manufacturing rate limiters and yield issues
- Design tooling and equipment including poka-yoke and controls
- Implement compliance with federal regulations such as GxP and 21 CFR
- Maintain design and manufacturing documentation for regulatory submission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience
- Strong grasp of engineering first principles
- Experience with DFX, conventional machining, and rapid prototyping
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the design and manufacturing of implantable electromechanical medical devices
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 10993, and 21 CFR standards
- Experience scaling complex low to mid-volume production lines
