Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the NPI lifecycle from concept through production release
• Review new designs for manufacturability and develop production processes
• Design and optimize facility layouts, workstations, and production flow
• Identify and justify capital equipment investments with ROI analysis
• Specify and design jigs, assembly aids, and fixtures
• Lead root cause analysis on complex technical issues on the production floor
• Interface with Design, Quality, and Production Planning teams
• Build cost-per-panel models and capacity analyses

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• 5–8 years in a manufacturing engineering role with significant floor presence
• Electrical or electromechanical manufacturing experience
• Ability to read schematics and understand wire routing and terminations
• Experience with NPI, DFM reviews, facility layout, and capital equipment justification
• Practical Lean manufacturing application skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ERP systems, and advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891)
