Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze models, drawings, and parts lists to determine fabrication feasibility, cost, and lead time
• Generate quotes for builders by combining technical analysis with software recommendations
• Provide DFM feedback to builders, including recommended design changes for tooling limitations
• Support platform development for casting tooling, including material databases and DFM tools
• Communicate with US sales to support part/tooling design solutions and quote feedback
• Lead the transition of customer programs from prototype to high-volume casting production

Requirements

• At least 10 years of casting manufacturing experience
• At least 6 years of gravity and die casting experience
• Proficiency in NX/UG software for analyzing and modifying 3D files
• Ability to use Magma or similar software for metal mold flow analysis
• Associate degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read 2D drawings and understand GD&T
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
