Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, optimize, and supervise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient product assembly and testing.
• Develop, document, and implement procedures required to assemble, test, and manufacture products.
• Analyze manufacturing process flows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
• Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling consistent with zero-defect levels and low product costs.
• Provide engineering support to the production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Coordinate with vendors to determine product specifications and evaluate equipment and materials against quality standards.
• Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to support operational decisions.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering (manufacturing field preferred) or science.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with MRP/ERP system build, implementation, and support.
• Proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve unique technical challenges.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the automotive industry or OEM manufacturing environments.
• Graduate degree in an engineering or science field.
