Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance, and distribution of detailed Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) and standard operating procedures
• Own the change implementation process from engineering to production, including reviewing and validating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Validate technical data packages, including engineering drawings, CAD files, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and qualify manufacturing aids, jigs, and fixtures
• Perform hands-on support for initial production builds, process optimization, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role focused on work instructions and change management (ECO/ECR)
• Proven ability to read, interpret, and validate engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOMs
• Experience with configuration control and formal quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• 3+ years of experience developing manufacturing documentation and process development
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain secret security clearance
• Ability to commute to the Hayward, CA office

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 certification
• Model airplane building or flying experience
• Veteran status
