Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering activities supporting design or process improvement
• Create layouts and detail drawings of assigned equipment
• Evaluate equipment and methods for production capabilities
• Recommend purchase of items for equipment maintenance
• Monitor process capabilities and equipment maintenance
• Support the engineering team in designing and building prototypes

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering degree
• Recent college graduate or graduating within the last semester
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Electrical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident (ITAR compliance)
• Ability to maintain or obtain Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling experience
• Curiosity for testing in-space operations
• Passion for the commercial and government space industry
• Passion for spacecraft or launch vehicle system development
