Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and production teams in developing and updating manufacturing plans
• Assist in drafting and maintaining work instructions, test plans, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Communicate manufacturing requirements to suppliers and support training of manufacturing personnel
• Provide technical support for production-related issues involving equipment, processes, quality, and systems
• Participate in troubleshooting activities and root cause analysis under guidance from senior engineers
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including incoming and outgoing inspections
• Track corrective actions and assist in preparing quality performance reports
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency
• Support compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal manufacturing procedures
• Provide day-to-day technical and engineering support to manufacturing and operations teams

Requirements

• Diploma or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Exposure to manufacturing or quality engineering
• Working knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with quality control and testing procedures such as EMI/EMC, vibration, temperature, and humidity testing
• Basic experience with Altium Designer or comparable PCB CAD tools
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols in embedded systems (CAN, Ethernet, Serial)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment
