Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects with a safety-first approach, coordinating internal and external resources to meet KPIs
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing ideas to improve production costs, volumes, and quality
• Manage capital improvement projects, machinery improvements, and plant layout
• Work with vendors and contractors on equipment installations
• Lead manufacturing process development for new or improved products
• Implement robotics and automation solutions where practical

Requirements

• At least two years of experience developing manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes in a production environment
• In-depth knowledge of materials and mechanics applied to production systems and tooling
• Experience with continuous improvement, lean principles, and value stream mapping
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems
• Ability to travel up to 35% between manufacturing facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a similar field
• Familiarity with PLC-based production systems
• Experience with welding processes
