About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing projects using a safety-first approach, coordinating internal and external resources to meet KPIs.
- Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production costs, volumes, and quality.
- Manage capital improvement projects, including machinery upgrades, plant layout optimization, and vendor coordination for equipment installations.
- Develop manufacturing processes for new or improved product lines.
- Implement robotics and automation solutions where practical to enhance production efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes in a production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of materials and mechanics as applied to production systems and tooling.
- Experience with continuous improvement, lean principles, and value stream mapping.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and inspections.
- Ability to travel occasionally between manufacturing facilities.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the US (US Citizens or Green Card holders only).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with PLC-based production systems.
- Experience with welding processes.
