Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects using a safety-first approach, coordinating internal and external resources to meet KPIs.
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production costs, volume, and quality.
• Manage capital improvement projects, including machinery upgrades, plant layout optimization, and vendor coordination for equipment installation.
• Develop manufacturing processes for new or improved product lines.
• Implement robotics and automation solutions where practical; familiarity with PLC-based systems is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, mechanics, and their application to production systems and tooling.
• Proven experience with continuous improvement, lean principles, and value stream mapping.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices and industrial inspections.
• Ability to travel between various manufacturing facilities.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (permanent work authorization required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with welding processes.
• Familiarity with PLC-based production systems.
