About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize efficient manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency and workflow.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to identify and eliminate production bottlenecks.
  • Oversee equipment management, including selection, installation, validation, and troubleshooting of new machinery.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, conducting audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Execute cost reduction initiatives and monitor KPIs related to efficiency, yield, scrap, and downtime.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule.
  • Use statistical tools and data analysis to identify trends, support process control, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety and environmental regulations through regular audits and corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor team members on new processes, equipment, and emerging manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software tools, specifically CAD/CAM and PLM systems.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
  • Practical knowledge of materials selection, machining, and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods for process control and quality assurance.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
