Manufacturing Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for new and existing production, including equipment controls, mold tooling, and process optimization for elastomer and rubber components.
• Develop manufacturing processes, specifications, shop travelers, and inspection planning for new and existing products.
• Lead the design, build, and qualification of new mold tooling and processing equipment.
• Analyze equipment, component, and process failures to create resolution plans.
• Design and fabricate test equipment involving hydraulic, mechanical, and control systems.
• Optimize current process flows to improve production efficiency and facility needs.
• Develop and implement HSE procedures and train production personnel on proper application.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with operations, design engineering, quality, and project management.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, OR MS in Engineering with 4+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of related experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Advanced experience with polymer-based materials and associated molding processes.
• Advanced understanding of metal properties (yield, machinability, weldability, and hardenability).
• Proven ability to conceptualize new tooling and produce functional designs with proper strength ratings.
• US Citizenship is required (Dual citizenship cannot be accepted).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple complex projects.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including international travel.
