Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Plan and design manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency through equipment layout, workflow analysis, and assembly methods.
• Use CAD and CAE software to develop structural designs, model new products, and produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) methodologies to deliver robust engineering packages focused on productivity.
• Assist with designing, developing, and evaluating product specifications and process validation plans.
• Identify root causes of manufacturing problems and execute effective resolutions.
• Execute engineering changes through established documentation processes.
• Utilize lean principles to improve manufacturing and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent education.
• 2+ years of related manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency with CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) software.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience with statistical techniques, data analysis, and problem-solving methods like Root Cause Analysis or 5 Why.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and layouts.
