Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, validate, and sustain molding, automation, and extrusion manufacturing processes within a regulated environment.
• Provide direct technical support to manufacturing operations, including diagnosing and resolving faults in automation systems, PLC logic, and electromechanical hardware.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen, Kanban, and standardized work to improve flow and efficiency.
• Drive yield improvement and reduce material usage variability by analyzing data and optimizing Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Manage the specification, acquisition, installation, and commissioning of automation systems, including robotics and vision systems.
• Execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities for new or modified equipment in compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Perform risk analysis through PFMEA, risk assessments, CAPA, and deviation investigations.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, or Maintenance Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar role.
• English language proficiency at an intermediate level (B2).
