Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing equipment, including process development, specification, acquisition, and implementation
• Identify root causes of manufacturing failures using structured problem-solving and implement permanent fixes
• Troubleshoot equipment by evaluating machine logic, electromechanical systems, and process controls
• Execute design of experiments (DOE), validation, and data analysis for continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and revise technical documentation including SOPs, validation protocols, risk assessments, and safety instructions
• Lead engineering project teams and mentor junior engineers and maintenance technicians
• Resolve Quality Incidents and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with various material testing and measuring methods
• Strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts (e.g., ANSI/AQL, probability)
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a GMP, FDA, ISO, or USDA regulated environment
• Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab
