Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and safety
• Lead Kaizen events and root cause problem solving using 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions for production processes
• Use data-driven analysis including SPC, Pareto, and time studies to resolve bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams for new product introductions
• Support equipment selection, process validation, and layout optimization
• Lead PFMEA, control plans, and risk assessments
• Train and mentor operators and technicians on lean tools and process changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
• Proven experience with Kaizen, standard work, and structured problem-solving (A3, 5-Why, Fishbone)
• Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and engineering change control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
• Experience in electrical equipment or assembly-based manufacturing
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
