Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain product functionality and cost efficiency
• Oversee the design, purchase, and installation of new manufacturing equipment
• Assess the manufacturability of new product designs and propose improved processes
• Monitor and improve scrap rates and develop strategies to reduce waste
• Evaluate production lines to improve efficiency, including reducing reject rates and downtime
• Coordinate with quality control and safety teams to ensure high-quality products and adherence to health and safety standards
• Conduct detailed studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production concepts
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
