About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale capital projects focused on automation, packaging systems, robotics, and material handling
  • Provide technical leadership for automation integration, including robots, manufacturing equipment, and conveyance
  • Drive optimization of existing robotic and product conveyance systems to improve safety, efficiency, and cycle time
  • Partner with external vendors, integrators, and OEMs to define equipment capabilities and deployment plans
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification, including safety verifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and throughput optimization
  • Coordinate machine runoffs and provide on-site oversight during equipment installation activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, warehousing, or a related industrial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to design robotic work cells, automated packaging lines, and material handling systems
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and facility or workstation layout optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or relative experience
  • Experience with ergonomic workstation layout and risk mitigation practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading automation or robotics deployments in warehousing or production environments
  • Working knowledge of industrial robots, cobots, and robot-guided vision systems
  • Experience with performance tracking, process monitoring, and data-driven continuous improvement
  • Project management experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple facilities
  • Knowledge of automated labeling, box forming, and palletizing technologies
