About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale capital projects focused on automation, packaging systems, robotics, and material handling
- Provide technical leadership for automation integration, including robots, manufacturing equipment, and conveyance
- Drive optimization of existing robotic and product conveyance systems to improve safety, efficiency, and cycle time
- Partner with external vendors, integrators, and OEMs to define equipment capabilities and deployment plans
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification, including safety verifications
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and throughput optimization
- Coordinate machine runoffs and provide on-site oversight during equipment installation activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, warehousing, or a related industrial environment
- Demonstrated ability to design robotic work cells, automated packaging lines, and material handling systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and facility or workstation layout optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or relative experience
- Experience with ergonomic workstation layout and risk mitigation practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading automation or robotics deployments in warehousing or production environments
- Working knowledge of industrial robots, cobots, and robot-guided vision systems
- Experience with performance tracking, process monitoring, and data-driven continuous improvement
- Project management experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple facilities
- Knowledge of automated labeling, box forming, and palletizing technologies
