Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing processes and equipment within defined schedule and budgetary parameters
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting plans
• Participate in the development and update of PFMEA and control plans for new products
• Write and update technical documentation, including work instructions, specifications, and procedures
• Collaborate with customers and engineering stakeholders to resolve problems and implement continuous improvements
• Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
• Provide technical and cost-related information to support management decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience and training
• 8 years of related experience in manufacturing engineering
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and the overall test process
• Strong understanding of automation design guidelines and DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis
• Proficiency in PFMEA development and statistical methods
• Ability to lead major initiatives and mentor or train other team members
