Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze models, drawings, and parts lists to determine manufacturing feasibility and scope
• Generate quotes for builders using software recommendations and supplier collaboration
• Develop cost calculators for new service offerings based on fabrication expertise
• Provide DFx feedback to builders to improve manufacturability and reduce costs
• Provide feedback to the quoting software team to improve automation accuracy
• Generate high-quality 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards

Requirements

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
• Experience with CNC machining and 3D printing
• Understanding of GD&T and conventional tolerancing
• Knowledge of manufacturability and limitations of common metals and plastics
• Exposure to sheet metal, urethane casting, or injection molding
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple custom mechanical manufacturing processes
• Ability to work independently without active supervision
