About the role
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations for EV battery module and pack assembly lines
- Optimize critical processes including laser welding, resistance welding, and dispensing
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
- Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why, Fish-bone, and DOE
- Support NPI, pilot builds, and engineering trials
- Create and maintain SOPs, PFMEA, and Control Plans
- Program and optimize industrial robots (Mitsubishi, FANUC, KUKA)
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic on Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi platforms
- Collaborate with machine suppliers on design reviews, FAT, and SAT
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
- 4–6 years of experience in EV battery pack/module manufacturing or high-precision automation
- Experience supporting automated production lines and complex equipment
- Hands-on experience in NPI, process validation, and ramp-up activities
- Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, and process documentation
- Working knowledge of quality tools like 5-Why, Fishbone, and DOE
