Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to production, resolving process deviations, equipment issues, and quality events with structured root-cause analysis
• Drive continuous improvement in production performance, monitoring process capability, assembly lines, first-pass yield, cycle time, and cost per unit
• Establish and maintain manufacturing documentation, such as process flows and pFMEAs
• Review field complaints related to medical devices and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Plan and execute process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), test method validations, and equipment qualifications in line with ISO 13485
• Act as the voice of manufacturing during product development to ensure design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development in the medical device industry
• Knowledge of precision mechanical assembly
• Experience in development and qualification of manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of manufacturing statistical tools like Minitab
• CAD skills (SolidWorks or similar) is a plus
• Fluency in English and French
