Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Promote continuous improvement culture and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives including kaizen, 5S, and standard work
• Lead and sustain 5S across the facility and serve as the primary site contact for production systems
• Identify, share, and implement best practices across North America Operations
• Drive continuous improvement actions across value streams to eliminate waste and meet performance targets
• Develop and use value stream maps to define strategic projects and rolling 12-month improvement plans
• Partner with internal and external suppliers to improve end-to-end enterprise processes
• Align production requirements with process capacity, priorities, and planning tools
• Develop training plans to build Lean/Six Sigma capability across the workforce
• Support the integration of new products and transfers into the facility using Continuous-Flow Manufacturing techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering (equivalent experience in industrial machinery manufacturing may be substituted)
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Statistical Quality Control metrics
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Certification
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Proficiency in "train the trainer" instructional techniques
