Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects related to composite production regarding safety, quality, cost, and manufacturability
• Act as a technical liaison between Project Planning, Project Engineering, and Quality departments
• Integrate new products into serial production while controlling cost and ensuring high quality
• Own hardware from concept generation to real-world use
• Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, and execute hardware test plans
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
• Identify sources of waste and implement strategies to minimize defects
• Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers and travel to installation sites as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of Engineering experience
• Experience and passion for composite manufacturing processes
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and Microsoft Office
• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering diagrams and blueprints
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and schematics using GD&T
• Knowledge of continuous improvement philosophy, methodology, and tools
• Strong personal workload management and relationship-building skills
