Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and SOPs
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure the manufacturability of new products
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance performance
• Lead the design and procurement of tools, fixtures, and equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement corrective actions
• Conduct time and motion studies to determine optimal production methods
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work the weekend first shift (Friday through Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
• Experience with failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
