Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize ceramic slurry manufacturing and kiln solidification processes for oxygen sensor ceramic coatings
• Manage equipment procurement, validation, and release testing to maintain high manufacturing standards
• Drive process improvements in manufacturing and development to ensure efficiency and product quality
• Utilize statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies to optimize production processes
• Maintain rigorous process documentation and adhere to quality management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in Thermo Shock Protection Manufacturing or process improvement in manufacturing and development
• Proven experience with ceramic coatings, kilns, or slurry-based manufacturing processes
• Working knowledge of TS/ISO/IA TF quality management systems
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Experience in equipment procurement and validation
