About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize ceramic slurry manufacturing and kiln solidification processes for oxygen sensor ceramic coatings
- Manage equipment procurement, validation, and release testing to maintain high manufacturing standards
- Drive process improvements in manufacturing and development to ensure efficiency and product quality
- Utilize statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies to optimize production processes
- Maintain rigorous process documentation and adhere to quality management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Thermo Shock Protection Manufacturing or process improvement in manufacturing and development
- Proven experience with ceramic coatings, kilns, or slurry-based manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of TS/ISO/IA TF quality management systems
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience in equipment procurement and validation
