Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and ensure the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to meet area KPIs.
• Manage spare parts and inventory to ensure optimal machinery operation and prevent production downtime.
• Lead and execute continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization projects to increase capacity and reduce costs.
• Supervise the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production and packaging machinery.
• Coordinate and develop a technical team of approximately 15–20 people, establishing performance metrics and strengthening technical skills.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by following up on observations and closing findings to eliminate risks.
• Participate in global projects and collaborate with other plants to implement best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, or a related Engineering field.
• Experience in mass production manufacturing (assembly or packaging lines).
• Strong knowledge of maintenance (preventive, predictive, and corrective) and equipment reliability.
• Proven experience in engineering project management and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading and managing technical or operational personnel.
• Foundational knowledge of automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in technical drawing interpretation and design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for technical communication and global collaboration.
