Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for fabricated industrial equipment and assemblies
• Create and maintain work instructions, process flows, routings, and bills of materials
• Review engineering drawings and BOMs for manufacturing completeness, accuracy, and manufacturability
• Manage ERP system integrity by entering routings, labor standards, and operation sequences
• Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure correct revision levels for shop release
• Partner with Quality teams to support root cause analysis and implement process controls
• Lead or support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including value stream mapping and waste reduction
• Promote a safe manufacturing environment in compliance with company and regulatory policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering (or related field)
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly
• Hands-on steel fabrication experience with the ability to review and approve product drawings
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with quality systems and ISO 9001 standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing environment
• Specific experience with welding, structural fabrication, or heavy equipment manufacturing
