Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve material flow from warehouse to production
• Evaluate and redesign storage layouts and internal flow
• Develop strategies for optimizing storage, picking, and material distribution
• Design and implement efficient line feeding models such as Supermarkets, Kitting, and Replenishment strategies
• Lead improvement initiatives directly on the production floor
• Apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to optimize flow and reduce waste
• Standardize processes and define operational best practices
• Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Production teams
• Support the implementation of integrated solutions in Oracle ERP

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Logistics Engineering or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, material flow, or internal logistics
• Solid experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments
• Proven experience in analyzing and implementing material flow from warehouse to production line
• Experience with line feeding strategies (kitting, supermarkets, replenishment)
• Advanced knowledge of Material Flow and Warehouse operations
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and KPI tracking
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement)
• Knowledge of line balancing, takt time, and capacity analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and TeamCenter
• Proficiency in design tools like CREO (desirable)
