Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities on the shopfloor to ensure aircraft components meet high quality standards
• Develop, define, and optimize manufacturing processes and methods to balance precision with economic efficiency
• Create and maintain production plans, standardized work instructions, and configuration control documentation
• Collaborate across departments, including finance, management, suppliers, and customers, to ensure smooth project delivery
• Lead problem-solving initiatives and conduct root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement in quality and reliability

Requirements

• University degree in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, maintenance processes, or technical support
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP
• Familiarity with PLM tools such as CATIA V5, 3DX, or Siemens NX
• Excellent command of English; additional languages like German or French are an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills for working within international teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace standards and regulations (EASA/FAA, Part 21/145)
• Skills in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools like Power BI, Python, or SQL
