About the role

Responsibilities

  • Transfer and scale-up new processes from Chemical Development into Manufacturing
  • Write and review process documentation, including master batch records, data capture forms, and automated equipment methods
  • Manage change control records (CC), risk assessments (RA), CAPA, and effectiveness verification (EV) to maintain cGMP compliance
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving for manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Lead or participate in investigations of major process deviations and assist Quality Assurance with root cause identification
  • Coordinate the revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support new process implementation
  • Review and approve technical transfer documents to ensure compatibility with manufacturing systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, or a related life science field
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven technical writing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a GMP manufacturing facility
  • Experience with large-scale pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing unit operations
  • Experience coordinating and participating in interdepartmental project teams
  • Knowledge of regulatory agencies and associated audits
