Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity and product quality
• Manage projects involving new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions
• Conduct Process FMEAs and Process Validations
• Improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput using Lean manufacturing concepts
• Coordinate the design, procurement, build, and debug of tooling, machinery, and test equipment
• Collaborate with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is required
• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in an engineering discipline
• Previous experience in the medical device industry
• Experience with electronics and electrical components
• Experience working within a highly matrixed or cross-division business model
