About the role
Responsibilities
- Optimize production processes and monitor equipment, machines, and tools to ensure efficient operations.
- Correct equipment problems or process parameters to prevent non-conforming products, low yields, or quality issues.
- Interface with Quality and R&D organizations to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
- Initiate and complete technical activities for new or improved products and next-generation programs.
- Analyze and solve complex engineering problems using basic principles, theories, and innovative approaches.
- Prepare technical reports and deliver presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff and new employees.
- Lead project teams of moderate scope, determining goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of related work experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering.
- Technical knowledge and application of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a regulated quality system environment.
- Proven ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in an engineering discipline.
