Manufacturing Electrical Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and validate End of Line (EOL) testers for humanoid robot systems, including computing, cameras, power distribution, batteries, sensors, and actuators
• Support the review of design artifacts such as drawings, schematics, layouts, and bills of materials from peers and external suppliers
• Contribute to EOL system integration and test activities through active test execution and debugging
• Specify and procure necessary manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures required for EOL testers

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in electrical manufacturing or test engineering
• Experience with EOL test station support equipment (PLCs, power supplies, E-loads, DAQs, sensors, pogo-pins, etc.)
• Solid electrical engineering fundamentals
• Ability to design interfaces and support PCBAs for EOL stations
• Experience with AC power distribution for test equipment (Single phase / Three phase, 120VAC - 480VAC)
• Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and RS-485
• Experience with automation tools, programming languages (Python), and EOL testing frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience using Altium for PCB design
• CAD experience with tools like EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or CATIA
• Embedded programming experience with DSPs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
• Background in robotics or other high-tech manufacturing industries
