Manufacturing Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 3-year strategic plan and annual operating plan to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient manufacturing.
• Lead, coach, and develop multi-functional plant teams to increase reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
• Drive the implementation of Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) ways of working and embed a zero-loss mindset.
• Accountable for protecting asset value through appropriate assessment of needs and planning of spend.
• Manage talent, capabilities, and engagement to build a sustainable and skilled workforce for the future.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and deliver company objectives.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in manufacturing performance at the Front Line or Manufacturing Manager level.
• Deep knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5s, LEAN, and Six Sigma tools and concepts.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience in managing costs and variances.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills within a team-based environment.
• Experience interfacing with Supply Chain functions including Demand Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service.
