Manufacturing Cost Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cost accounting analysis including comparing estimated vs. actual costs and reviewing profit margins
• Maintain and manage cost data in ERP systems (Epicor) including part cost maintenance and cost rolls
• Prepare and present financial and manufacturing reports such as monthly absorption reports and variance analyses
• Lead or co-lead inventory and cost control processes including physical inventory coordination
• Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to estimate product costs and monitor process changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• At least 5 years of cost accounting experience within manufacturing
• Experience with time studies
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems such as Epicor or SAP
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and accounting procedures
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
