Manufacturing Controls/Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and programming for manufacturing system designs and modifications
• Program and maintain robot inputs/outputs and interfacing equipment
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on the production floor
• Develop and install vision systems and implement system upgrades
• Program PLCs and manage project documentation
• Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematic drawings and equipment manuals

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working with controls in an automotive facility
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive plastic injection molding and assembly
• Proficiency in robot programming and PLC programming
• Ability to read and analyze electrical schematic drawings
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
