Manufacturing Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support process control systems infrastructure (software/hardware) and advanced control applications for refineries and chemical plants
• Design and engineer computing infrastructure including servers, operating systems, and networks
• Integrate and deploy advanced control applications into the industrial control systems (ICS) environment
• Provide effective above-site Control Systems sustainment support and remote engineering assistance
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development within the team
• Collaborate with Application Engineers and site stakeholders to ensure reliable control system operation
• Participate in after-hours support rotations for emergency systems support and critical incident response

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in control systems or related fields
• Experience with virtualization, networking, Windows servers, and Active Directory
• Proficiency in automation scripting, specifically PowerShell
• Experience with software configuration, integration, testing, and technical documentation
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural global team across different timezones

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) within a manufacturing domain environment
